November 2007, 14-15 months old

Yep, she ate dead bugs. Chuck says that it's okay because they have protein. YUCK!

October 2007, 13-14 months old

I think all 30 of her dimples are showing in this picture. :-)

She was a butterfly for Halloween and a darn cute one at that.

I think this picture is cute but hate how her right ear is sticking out of her hat...her ears really aren't that big. LOL!

September 2007, 12-13 months old

So you know how they say watch what you wish for? Before she could start walking, I would always say, "I can't wait until Makenna starts walking so she can hold my hand when we go shopping." For some reason, I really thought this would be a cute thing. Little did I know that Makenna was going to turn into a hurricane on a daily basis once she started walking.

This happened ALL OF THE TIME! We gave into having locks on all doors and drawers and closets, and anything else that can be opened.  @#%#@$!%!!!

August 2007, turning 1 and walking

Makenna started taking 1 to 3 steps at about 11 months but by the time her 1st birthday rolled around she was walking everywhere! And that's an understatement. It's amazing how things change once they start walking. At her 1 year appointment she was 26in tall and about 16lbs. Not really off the charts in either category.

July 2007, 10-11 months old

June 2007, 9-10 months and the wedding!

So this was the big month of the wedding. I struggled with how I was going to include Makenna in the actual ceremony since given the fact that she was 10 months old at the time it wasn't your traditional wedding.  :-)  I had 2 flower girls and had thought about letting them pull her down the aisle in a wagon but had second thoughts when someone mentioned them RUNNING down the aisle with her. So, we decided to let Chuck walk in with her in the back when it was time for the men to come in and pass her off to my mom who was already sitting down. Makenna was so cute in her little dress.

Does it get any more precious than this?

May 2007, 8-9 months old

She's my cheesing girl. This was taken the day of my wedding shower.

This was taken on her first camping trip with some friends of ours. Angela keeps trying to get us to go camping again but something tells me that since she was just crawling here, now would be totally different. #@$!$#@!$#@%~~~!!!

YEA! We finally learned how to crawl! The cat taught her how to because she would try chasing him.

She's just too cute for words!

April 2007, 7-8 months old

I didn't really take many pictures during April because this is when we were closing on the new house and moving in and the wedding was only 2 months away so I was busy with that too. But I did find some cute ones (I think so anyways...)

HEHEHE  funny picture! But you do have to admit that those eyes are just beautiful!

Makenna had only been sitting up by herself for about 2 weeks.  That whole being born a month early thing was still showing signs on her development.

March 2007, 6-7 months old

January 2007, 4-5 months old

Finally into 3-6 months clothes, Makenna has grown so much by now. She was starting to really coo and talk all of the time and was such a happy baby.

Her eyes have been this big since she started opening them. Everyone loves her big, blue eyes.

She loved her Johnny Jumper once she was big enough to actually reach the floor. This was the very first time in it and she ended leaning forward and banging her face against the toy. LOL!

She loved watching tv and thank goodness she did...it was the only way I could get anything accomplished.
