Potty training...

I know she's smiling here, but the girl HATES the potty. We have been really trying to potty train for about the last 2 months and she just absolutely hates to even sit on the thing...there have been no successful attempts thus far. The other night we were at Walmart and I bought

some mini cadburry eggs (yummy!) and Makenna loved them...like LOVED THEM! So, I had this idea to make the cadburry eggs the special treat if she pees/poops in the potty. So we try it out. She wanted one so bad but I told her she has to pee in the potty to get one. Oh, she did not like that. Cried and kept saying, "I want a chock it egg." So, I had this bright idea to model for her. So, I said watch and listen Makenna and proceeded to drop my pants and use my potty. I told her to listen so she could hear me pee. Then I said, "Mommy pee peed in her potty so she gets a chocolate egg." and opened one up and ate it. Oh, that just set her off big time. At the top of her lungs and in a very mean voice, "I WANT A CHOCK IT EGG!" hehehehe


Now bath time on the other hand she loves...she would stay in there forever if I let her. She loves to line up all of her cups and leggos on the tub and then pour water into them all, dump them out, and repeat.
