So I was so happy for spring break to finally get here. The kids at school were about to drive me to the insane asylum and I just needed a break...I think we all did. The first days of break (Sat - Tues) the weather was great. I didn't get out that much to enjoy it because I was cleaning my bootie off for family that was coming in later that week. But I did manage to take Makenna outside to play a couple of times. She loves being outside. I've made a promise to her that since I'm not working or taking classes this summer that I'm going to take her outside a lot more than I normally do. The rest of break the weather was cool and rainy and windy. BLAH! HURRY UP SPRING!
THE GOOD: Being off work, spending time with my family from Georgia, SHOPPING WAY TOO MUCH!
THE BAD: Being on break but still being totally exhausted...of course the exhaustion was from so much shopping so it's not entirely a bad thing hehe
THE UGLY: My mom had a biopsy done on a lump she found in her breast and on Thursday she got the results...she has breast cancer and is going to have to have at least a single mastectomy. She calls the doctor today to find out the basics of the surgery since she was in such shock on that Thursday she didn't ask many questions. Please everyone keep her in your prayers...
I'll post pictures of the girls later when I have more time to upload them. I've got some cute ones!
